Rules of the LTA 2006
The Rules of the LTA, effective from 1 January 2006, set out our
objectives and also regulate how we run our affairs. For example, affiliation
of organisations, election of LTA councillors, holding of general meetings,
conditions governing players, the holding of tournaments.
Grouping of counties (Appendix 1)
This appendix lists the groups of counties and Unitary Authorities in England for tennis purposes. (See LTA rule 38.)
Eligibility of a player to represent a country (Appendix 2)
This appendix provides the terms by which a player may represent his country. (See LTA rule 35(a).)
Disciplinary and dispute procedures (Appendix 3)
This appendix to the rules outlines the jurisdiction the LTA has over disciplinary matters and the manner in which disciplinary functions are exercised.
Tennis anti-doping programme (Appendix 4)
The purpose of the LTA’s Anti-Doping Programme is to maintain the integrity of tennis and to protect the health and rights of all tennis players. (See LTA Rule 32.)
Coach Licensing Scheme general conditions (Appendix 5)
All LTA Coach Licences are issued subject to these conditions.
Regulations concerning Match Fixing, Financial Speculation and Betting (Appendix 6)
The provisions of this Appendix apply to all persons over whom the LTA exercises disciplinary jurisdiction in accordance with LTA Rule 29(e) and Rule 1.1 of Appendix 3.
